Watch this stunning clip of bodycam footage from the set of Rust in New Mexico, the day cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, was shot dead by a live round in what was meant to be a prop gun. Alec Baldwin was the actor holding the firearm, and Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, (the set armorer who has since been convicted), was taken to a police vehicle at the scene. Baldwin, however, was treated differently.

Nearly three years after the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of the film "Rust," Alec Baldwin is set to face trial. Baldwin, who was rehearsing with a revolver when it discharged, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza, is charged with felony involuntary manslaughter. If convicted, Baldwin could face 18 months in prison. The central issues include the chaotic movie set environment and the specifics of the firearm involved.
The trial at the First Judicial District Court of New Mexico is expected to last nine days. Jury selection begins on Tuesday, with opening statements following on Wednesday. The jury must decide if Baldwin's actions meet the criteria for negligent use of a firearm or if he acted with total disregard for safety.
Alec Baldwin, 66, is a well-known actor with a career spanning films like "Beetlejuice" and "The Hunt for Red October," and TV roles in "30 Rock" and "Saturday Night Live." He has had a history of public controversies and legal issues.
Halyna Hutchins was a 42-year-old rising cinematographer and mother. She had a background in documentary filmmaking in Eastern Europe and was building a promising career in Hollywood.
The trial will occur in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is expected to attract significant media attention. Proceedings will be streamed and broadcast by several outlets, including Court TV.
